Winery of the Month: Paracombe Wines

This November, we’re celebrating Paracombe Wines, one of the shining names of the Adelaide Hills. Family-owned and proudly South Australian, Paracombe is known for crafting elegant, expressive wines that capture the unique character of the region’s cool-climate vineyards.

Founded on the slopes of an ancient plateau formed by volcanic activity more than 20 million years ago, Paracombe’s vineyards thrive in ironstone-rich soils that give their wines a distinctive mineral edge and exceptional flavour definition. On special this month are three standouts from their range:

• Sauvignon Blanc – bright and zesty with tropical fruit, stone fruit complexity and a crisp, persistent finish.

• Pinot Gris – elegant and fragrant with pear, rose petal and gentle natural acidity.

• Pinot Noir – medium-bodied with wild strawberry, cherry and spice, showing the finesse and balance that define Adelaide Hills reds.
